Recordings were taken from a residential property and inside a bedroom.

This recording was taken 17th June 2026 at approx. 10:40am - with a timeline as follows:
 

• 0:30 - Noise increases with Asphalt Plant start up

• 2:55 - Burner is operational and increasing

• 3:35 - Start of the noise peaks

• 8:20 - significant noise nuisance

• 25:40 - peak volume for this cycle

• 35:30 - abrupt end - asphalt plant stops

The audio below begins with the BP Mitchell asphalt plant clearly operating, right up until the 47 second mark when the plant shuts down - Remeber this is inside a bedroom at 650 meters away!!

The contrast in noise before and after is stark - a real time demonstration of the nuisance residents are forced to endure six days a week
